Pavilion Regulations


Policies, Rules & Regulations
  • A maximum of 6 hours is permitted for each rental. A more then 6 hour rental request must be approved by the Parks Superintendent. 
  • Franklin Park Rentals have the option to either rent the entire pavilion OR just half of it. If you choose to only rent half of the pavilion, you must be prepaid to share the other half if another party books the other side.  
  • Park Pavilion Hours are as followed:
-Franklin Park: 6am-10pm
-Jubilee Park: 6am-11pm
-Smiley Park: 6am-11pm
-Fountain Park: 6am-10pm
-Rotary Dog Park: 6am-10pm
 
  • All wheeled vehicles: ex, cars, motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles, golf carts and skateboards are prohibited within parks except in designated areas. A wheeled vehicle does not include any apparatus used by a handicapped person or any apparatus used to propel a child 4 years of age.
  • No swimming is permitted in the Smiley Park Pond.
  • Fishing is permitted in the Smiley Park Pond
  • NO alcoholic beverages may be consumed or are permitted on park premises or public property by City Ordinance 93.10
  • As the party reserving and having the use of City property/facility, I understand that:
  1. No nails or staples are permitted to be used to hang signs or decorations at any pavilion.
  2. If tape or string is used, I understand the tape, tape residue, and any string is to be COMPLETELY removed as well.
  3. All trash must be placed in the appropriate trash receptacles that are provided. No littering is permitted by City Ordinance 96.21
  4. Tables are provided at all facilities. Table covers can be used as long as any tape that is utilized is removed as well once the event is completed.
  5. The cleanliness and condition of said premises must be as orderly as they were found.
Electric
  • All Pavilions have electric outlets. PLEASE do not put multiple crock pots on a single outlet. It is recommended that crock pots be spread out on separate outlets and limited to 2-3 total. Overloading will cause the breaker to blow and there is no guarantee an employee will be able to come fix the issue in a timely manner.
 
Refund Policy
In the event of weather cancellations, as deemed by the Parks Department, reservations can be rescheduled, but no refunds will be given.
